Add Content Pictures Record

Note: Do not use double quotes in any fields. For inches, use two single quotes

This will add a picture record for uploaded pictures that can be used for content on selected web pages. In order to display properly, you must ensure that the MLSNumber entered here matches the MLSNumber field on the Content record.

[Note: It may or may not be a valid MLSNumber as this field may contain a number or a combination of numbers and letters that will be used to match up with the Content record.]

RotateSeq

Field Description:

  • MLSNumber - This is a number used for linking each Picture record to a Content record. It may or may not be a valid MLSNumber.  The MLSNumber of each Picture record MUST match the MLSNumber of the Content record in order to match the picture to that content.
    • Example: You have 7 pictures for a content record that is listed in the MLS directory.  The content record has a MLSNumber of 237436.  Therefore, each picture record must have a MLSNumber value of 237436.
    • Example: You have 5 pictures for a content record that is NOT listed in the MLS directory.  You assign an MLSNumber of NOMLS173 (using the NOMLS + 173 as an example only to define that this record is not listed in the MLS directory).  Each picture record must have a MLSNumber value of NOMLS173.
  • PictureFilename - This is the name of the image file that you want displayed. Ensure that all images have been renamed so that it is descriptive with no spaces.  As a rule, any filename extension such as 'jpg', 'gif', 'png', etc should be in lowercase.
    • Example: The image file for Picture #1 of the property at 102 Asia Court in the Cross Creek subdivision could be renamed "CrossCreek-102AsiaCt-01.jpg".
    • When you enter the PictureFilename in the Picture record, it must match the actual filename of the image file using proper upper/lower case.  In the above example, then that Picture record should have "CrossCreek-102AsiaCt-01.jpg" as the PictureFilename.
    • The purpose of having an exact match is so the online application can find the image file that you want displayed.  Without an exact match, no image will be displayed.
  • PictureAltText -  This is the pop-up description that will be displayed when someone hovers the mouse over the image.
    • Example: If it is a picture of the kitchen, you could say "A well-designed kitchen for the family chef!"
  • DefaultPicture - This is a simply Yes/No option.  If you select Yes, this is the picture that will be display on the initial listing page with other properties.
  • RotateSeq - If used, this is the number that you assign for this picture to be displayed in relation to other picture records.
    • Example:  This is the first picture you want displayed if a rotating slideshow is provided. Therefore, RotateSeq would be '1'.
